I just finished watching a vcd my mum borrowed from her friend. It's a Hindi movie, but it was partly spoken in English and had English subtitles.

The heart-wrenching, deeply moving story "Black" depicts the relationship between a teacher and a student born deaf and blind. He selflessly taught the girl and seen her through since young. He constantly reminded her that 'Black' does not always means being lost, being left out. 'Black' signifies her strength to be the same as others as well as the knowledge she will be able to attain. Through his guidance, she managed to graduate from a prestigious university.

I cried so much throughout the film that my eyes are swollen and the collar of my t-shirt is still wet from those tears. Brilliant film.
