God is all sufficient.

He has always been my provider, especially in the area of getting jobs. As I look back, after I completed my A levels, I was asked to do relief teaching for half a year. After that, tuition assignments came knocking on my door. I never knew how to write a CV, how to look for jobs or even to go for interviews, simply because I never needed to!

This time around, God made me go through all of the above for experience sake. I went through job agencies' websites, wrote my CV and sent them over the weekend. However, God had a better plan.

My dad casually mentioned to his client in Great Eastern that I was looking for a job on Tuesday (yesterday). He immediately asked me to send him my CV and said he would help me get me a job.

I was called to go down for an interview with this guy and another whom I will be reporting to. Interview was a breeze because even though there were two of them, it was very informal. We went to Hans and they bought me tea and we chatted over drinks. They offered a great job. I am put in the Human Development Department where will be basically in charged of training courses conducted in the company. I will have to liase with external organisations, prepare venues, sit in their training to ensure everything goes on well and work with the entire company because every department will have to undergo this training according to batches.

Seriously, what more can I ask for being an intern? I am thankful for them entrusting me with this position even without any decent job experience. This will definitely not be another mundane job of sitting in front of the computer everyday (data entry) or calling up a certain number of clients (telemarketing) per day!
