I am obviously having my leisure time in office now to be able to do this...

I am blessed with lots of favour from all my colleagues and bosses, and I am thankful for that. I am really enjoyingy time with them here. There is only one thing that they cannot stand about me - they complain that I work too fast, which explains why I have so much free time in the office to go online and do some occasional reading. My boss jokes that they should not have employed me because I make them seem like they are incompetent. For every assignment they give me, whether it is from my bosses or my colleagues, they will tell me to take my time. Seriously, which office will tell you to work slowly?

I made friends with everyone in the office, from my bosses to even the cleaner aunty. (I have the time to do that...) My bosses and colleagues, one by one offer to take me out for lunch every other day. This favour, indeed, has to come from God.

I must confess that I am one of a slacker. Every morning is a battle to reach office on time. I usually reach between 9.15-9.20am. I was on time today though, a rare exception... Lunch time is also flexible, anytime from 12-2pm. This does not mean 2 full hours. It should be either 12-1 or 1-2. BUT I usually take the full 2 hours. First 1 hour is for lunch, the next is for shopping. You cannot resist it when you have so many shops all around you...

The thing is, not that I want to slack, but I have to join in the culture... Almost everyone in my department comes in late, and they have 2 hour lunches too.. So see, I am just trying to blend in...

Back by 2 after lunch, 3 plus I will go into the pantry to make tea, 4 plus I will stand at the receptionist's table to chit chat with her. By 5 plus, I will prepare to leave office. That's my typical day at work, for now...

(I better not conclude too soon. I wouldn't be suprised to see myself blogging about having lots of work to do in my next blog entry..)
